It's TRICKLE-down. The fact you can't even spell the thing makes me very dubious you don't even know what you're talking about, comrade.

US should just disband.
They have shitty political system and are overall quite shitty country when measured in any way.

Also who cares about middle class?
I think that the aim is to make the country good place for everyone.
But stupid brainwashed american capitalist pigs dont know about such things.

Welfare of cool(no pun intended) countries like Finland, and some of it's non-eastern neighbours is partly due to the lutheranism.
Or maybe our people are just superior because we came up with so well working society, its not perfect. But compared to other countries...

Finland is 89% Finnish, 94.3% Scandinavian, and like 98% white. With demographics like that, it's easy to see how a socialist system of government would work well. America doesn't work like that. No ones wants to help the lazy blacks, the job-stealing mexicans, the terrorist muslims, or the racist whites. You don't have that problem in Finland. Capitalism is the only way America can function. It usually works out well considering the technological advancements and successful corporations to come out of the US, but it's also vulnerable to cronyism with our current political system.

I would not call america a well-functioning country.
Its like saying that you boat is the best boat in the world because it is made of gold, but it sinks.

Fact that many big successful corporations originate form america is maybe not a good thing.. Because what I have understood, they seem to make lot of bad stuff to you.
Also many of your corporations are successful because they can manufacture their stuff in cheap countries like china and so on. Quality of life will soon rise in these countries, and they start demanding more wages. Then those big corporations can not have so great profit margins anymore, as they have to pay more for labor, thus becoming less-successful corporations.

You should be prepared for a change. Big countries like India, China, Africa. They will become a real threat economically. Especially china.

Don't feed the alt right trolls. Just let them starve to death.

I agree. A lot of Americans agree. Somehow it's just not quite enough in the right places.

Zampfeo wrote:it's also vulnerable to cronyism with our current political system.

All political systems are subject to cronyism. I'd say that capitalism is less so. If we get politicians and businesses that want to get too buddy buddy and start screwing people over, we can vote with our money as well as ballots. What do you do if you have a "President for life*" that faces no serious challengers and does everything he can to support his buddies and allies, but lets his people starve in the streets? I mean, we (the US) had one president for almost 15 years, and might have been longer if he hadn't died in office, because he had the people and foresight to do the right thing to get the country back on track, did things so people didn't starve in the streets. (Seemed to be a bit too much power for one person, though, because quickly term limits were introduced for the President... if not for everyone else in the Federal government. Another argument for another thread, though.)

*or in the case of state granted monopolies, a business that controls something and can do almost anything it wills as long it can justify itself to the state.

That is not that I am feeling. It seems like many (american) people say stuff like "but why should I pay for somebody elses welfare"

Because you have blowhard meatheads on Fox News and other far right media broadcasting it around the world. Talk to normal people, and you don't hear it as much.

So, if Fox News are far right, you'd call CNN a center-right news organization that is very centered on truth and very professional, right?
