KOs occur when your SHP hits 0, which an animal will fight you to until it happens. After half a minute you can port home or log out safely, with just a wound that causes a deubff and some SHP to regenerate. The SHP only regenerates when you have a green energy bar, i.e. above 8000%

There was never anything wrong with the game imo. In any game lifeless dude will beat the dude with a life. It does not have to be a char development game like hnh. It could even be csgo for example. Where each round is same and equal. Guy with more play hours will aim and kill better. This is natural, no workaround on it. Problem with hnh is, its not a casual game. Even being a proper hermit would cut someone from the world imo. So people that populated this game all these years are veterans that can put hours and hours into this game. Most games sustain equality by using a tier system where different levels of players aren't able to interact. As hnh is an open world game where everything is free, there is no law protecting big factions form ripping the world in half. The botting problem is the only problem of this game. Which gains artificial hours played. But devs have failed to bring a system that eliminates those. My opinion would be to spectate(watch) each player if thats a possible mechanic. Its not like this game is super populated surveying 1500 players would take them 1-2 days max. Lets say a week if each player is watched assuming it is a bot.

What I like currently:
Satiations fade by themselves after a while.
    Primitive beds exist.
    The new surroundings of oceans.

What I dislike currently:
OP bees with no option to smoke them out, really? And considering this is compulsory for farming beehives now.

In Rust I snuck up on a guy who had full metal armor and AK, and took him out with even though I was naked and had nothing but a pipe shotgun. How do I do that here?

I dont buy the staying at 300% is optimal thing. Unless I'm missing a trick maybe charisma, quests are far too RNG to reliably be used to stay in 300%. Staying in 300% may have been optimal last world with spiraled symbel produced after years of grind but its definitely not the case in present.

This is one of those things where everyone is acting like they know something other people dont because they want to seem smart when really they are full of shit.

Even at 5% hunger reduction true neckbeards will just spam salt through trade to get where they want to be and us normies can always quest to stay within 300% forever

I saw your attributes and hunger on stream, they were horrible, I thought my attributes sucked until I saw yours. Who are you trying to kid? lol

I spent my entire first day out just running around doing quests and foraging while claims dried. I was eating, quite literally, everything in sight--berries, nuts, plain old roast meat and fish, whatever. I finally left the 3x bonus when I gave up trying to set up a claim where I spawned at and started trying to find a quieter location.

Yes, questing in very random. do enough of them, though, and RNG gets mitigated.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
