All this assumes that the population count was accurate. Even now we can't get an actual figure on the world's population... that is 100% accurate. How do you expect the numbers from 1000s to be accurate.

The black pest wiped out half of them.
Or the one pest before that.
Or the one before that other one.

Only just 29 generation ago, around year 1091, I must have over 500 million ancestors, but there is only 300 million men existing in this year! How this disparity can be explained? Is planet Earth only 928 years old and God really creates 536,870,910 men in addition to Adam and Eve? Historical population estimates are not right and should be much higher? There is some flaw in my mathematics? No men today really exist? I am curious what the other forum friend can think of this conundrum. Thanks to you all as always for this consideration.

Hope i am not explaining to troll pasta.
And your question is really interesting, but, is already explained.
There is a thing, named carrying capacity - means maximum amount of place for any species for current ecosystem. People, as any other animal have this limit too, but it is not limited by the nature and not depend on environment, like it is affect other kinds. This limit affects not only by available food, but also place, ability to live in big groups (social structure), and also lifespan of people(disease resistance and quality of life)
There are also another thing - technical breakthrough like industrial revolution, it allows people to extend their current carrying capacity. There were a lot of breakthroughs , for example agriculture and animal husbandry allowed people to produce more food, and become cities instead of migrating tribes of hunters and foragers. Other revolutions were very helpful too, invention of steam engine, plants, fabrics - increased our carrying capacity too.
For the current time, we are affected by medical revolution, what defeated almost all deadly diseases by inventing antibiotics, or implemented vaccinations for almost all kinds of diseases.
So, if people will meet their capacity limit - their population will stand still like it was in medieval ages. But if any technical breakthrough will happen, our capacity will expand again, and people population will start grow again.

Most men probably didn't have kids. Chads would fuck all the women like they do in nature. Pretty simple to explain.
