• You can still connect with your current custom client the way you did previously (though it may need to be updated ahead of and even after release)
• Client devs can request for steam keys to add their client to Haven’s steam Workshop page. Several already have, so if you’re using a public one feel free to check there.

starting to think this will be a much longer process for haven to gain any traction on the platform. hopefully it can survive the inevitable reviews. wishlist numbers could prove me wrong but at this rate you've barely got all the people who play world start to open steam.

Most of us who've been around since legacy (pre-w7) simply saw a hearth secret on 4chan/SA/Bay12 and were thrown into the game with a group fairly quickly. Alas, things have changed and the new player experience is awful these days. I don't think any amount of social media engineering is going to make W16 launch any different. Best we can hope for is people see their Steam friends playing and gain interest slowly; especially with the promised 6-month world lifespans.

It's less urgent since they swapped to early access. Steam holds off on full launch publicity until you leave early access, according to their documentation.
