On the topic of OP, isn't that what the C&I channel is for? Even though its kinda barely active.

Kinda, but no. My idea is that the devs suggest a change they have on their mind, and people let them know their thoughts. Without the spam and whining that is present on forums.

Oh yeah, this suggestion is mostly for jorb and loftar to consider(TM), rather than the community. I just don't like DMing ideas.

Tbf, I think the "Official" HnH Discord is pretty fine as long as the topic isn't WB related.

Yeah it's kinda rough about this topic, I believe it's due to some of the wb members (Not all of them) antagonizing the discord server for quite a while and basically calling anyone who is on there part of the "discord clique" and straight up refusing to join it, which lead to this apparent "animosity". Obviously there is some semblance of a bias on a server where one of the parties refuses to participate since there are no voices on the opposite side of things (not because they aren't allowed tho). Thankfully the moderation keeps the part of the server designed strictly for non shit-talk purposes decently clean.

Game change suggestions/discussions should never be discussed in the DMs, I agree. More transparency and public discussion about upcoming changes is a great idea.

This is genuinely an awful idea.
While it is true that the mods of the discord are fine, the discord itself is a cesspool of people that for the most part are incapable of voicing their own thoughts (because golems do not have thoughts), instead what happens is their masters say something and the rest of them line up to agree and if you disagree with them you'll get dogpiled by a bunch of triggered NPC's calling you a retard but they're incapable of providing a single articulate reason as to why you're wrong.
They do not have the mental fortitude to cope with differing opinions without screeching and they lack the courage and individuality to go against one of the hiveminds ideas. That's why you'll see the same posters +1ing each other's posts over and over again but you'll never see them doing the opposite.

I've had snail screeching to get me banned from there last night (along with a few others) because my opinions triggered him. Half expected the mods to cave into his request but to my surprise they didn't, so hats off to them.

But yeah, very hard to recommend the place when they think nobody knows what they're talking about besides themselves.
A lot of bad faith actors tbh poisoning the mind of jorb for their own gain/benefit instead of the benefit of the game as a whole.

But do you understand where I am coming from?

In these threads are some of the people from that discord who actively go in and just basically do the same thing you just accused Noc of doing. It's so prevalent in the forums, it taints the possibility of ever seeing your discord as an unbiased place. you yourself did not post the full chats involving me. Let me ask you this. Would you Ever consider WB's discord as a possible place to host your idea? If you cannot fathom it, then how are others supposed to fathom the discord you request?
