I've been looking at "Sheltered" (first screenshot). I've always loved interesting post-apoc games. I've just not been 100% sure about this one (waiting for the winter sale).

It's biggest flaw from my perspective is that it isn't addictive for very long. It's great fun and there's a fair bit of depth to the bunker gameplay but the rest of the world feels a bit bland and I also found it too easy to max everything out.

Spam water storage and go on as many expeditions as you can to farm the materials you need. Everything is maxed. Okay now what?

Also try CDDA if you haven't played it yet....one of the best post-apoc...

If you liked Sheltered you'll probably like This War of Mine too. It's basically the same thing, but with better graphics, music and mechanics.

Miscreated.

It's kind of like a DayZ clone (although I've never played DayZ so I can't compare them) with rust style base building. The base building is kinda pointless and raiding is done with hatchets. Pre-release alpha, just like everything these days.

It's fun to run around and loot but the community kinda sucks. Great example of why players need some common enemy or they begin to be assholes to each other. After getting tricked the second time I just started to KOS everything that moved, deer, people, vehicles. I just kind of camp the hill outside the airfield and wait until I see movement, then I roll down the hill and unleash fury.

I like some parts of it, like how realistic the combat is. You can die very quickly and things like surprise contribute much more to your chance of winning a fight than what weapon you have. It's the biggest rush from PvP from any of the games I play because of that and because you lose all your stuff if you die so when you have a lot of stuff it's a big risk to fight.

There's not a lot of depth to the gameplay though. It's just run around, loot, get a gun, kill people till you die and then quit for a few days. Plus it's broken as all hell. Items disappear from your inventory when you log out sometimes, cars can just clip through random parts of the map and dump you into the undersea etc.

Have someone played this game? Is it good?
It's a survival/horror game....a bit similiar to CDDA.
