'fate allowing'? You mean, when you spawn it?

That is idiotic.
Exploration confirmed for being worthless.

Well, I'm glad I stopped getting explo after hitting ten.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

Honestly, it would be great to know with clarity if exploration indeed isn't intended to be one of the main (endgame) curio sources anymore, before all of your playerbase smacks 1 million LP in exploration and still wonders why it doesn't work :P

So I wonder how this fate thing works...

"your study is full enough, why would you need more curios"
"you don't have a gold subscription, you don't really deserve a bluebell"
"your character has lived long enough, it's time to die already"

...?

Seriously. What a stupid system. Why change the formula to an objectively worse one? Now we've got new players and just players with no investment into exploration finding better curiosities than people can find with 40-50 Exploration and Perception.
Who thought this was a good idea? Because it's not at all. Of all the silly decisions, this is one of the silliest. There's no rational reason as to why it should be this way.
Spending thousands of LP in a skill designed around letting you see forageable items being completely counteracted by luck. For what purpose?

Pretty much!
