Saying that someone is too advanced, so there is no reason to play is a bit of a nonsense. You can buy some mid-tier stuff, build trade relationships, set up alliances and you will be fine. It has been proven several times by various groups, including mine.

I was only looking from my competitive eyes about q raising. But I guess with all the mining stuff its not anymore important to have best trees for everything, so yea, maybe you are right :) However, at least for me, this world is over, if not for anything else, because the dead animals.

so i noticed there were atleast 30 more players when it was free to play (probably just previous players rolling alts during free period)

It could also be related to the server recently having been restarted, though. :)
