*Edit* Just an example. Went to eat at a Mexican restaurant with a couple friends. Love the food there, and they had recently moved into a new building / area from where they used to be, now situated in downtown. Well in the pillars of the building and in the restaurant itself there were small tiles with different symbols, all typically showing positive meaning and what not. One of the symbols was the swastika. One of my friends spoke up that they thought it was offensive and really was thinking the place was supporters of Hitler. That was embarrassing.
But back to the topic, yes yes.. I am well aware that the people who are 'vandalizing' the lawn of the TC are doing it with the threat of ill intentions, never once denied it. But that doesn't change the fact that those who did it likely are ignorant butts that know nothing about it themself. xP
On this side of the world people hang an effigy of a dead and tortured man everywhere, an even carry it around their necks. That's hardcore but still kinda creepy.
Just like the Roman habit of wearing necklaces of stone-carved dicks.
This will be a fun planet for alien historians.
