Well, I wouldn't go quite that far ... quite liking the sound of it though.
How are you faring in this new mercenary world so far boreial? Better than I am I hope. :)

Well, I'm sort of stuck atm, Em is busy with family and heavy workload this wkend and with my awful sense of direction I'm reluctant to try and travel without an arrow to follow, lol.

As is the usual for me so far this world I logged on to my newly found cart missing ... in some ways it was actually a relief, I lost some of the hides I was clinging onto but at least have more inventory space and would have had to leave it at some point anyway due to the river systems.

I started to head off in what is hopefully the right direction and also managed to find myself on the map, not that that really helps without knowing where Em is ... anyway, I eventually became trapped again by rivers but I did run into a friendly hearthling who gave me some fox meat, thank you, and I found my cart!

No, Dani, youre not the only one without a house so far. I've put down temporary roots where I started, but have been on the hunt for metal. Once I find that, then I usually move, so no point in wasting time with a house. (Found ore, but it's a steep sided mountain... beautiful vista, horrible to build one... Undecided if I want to move there.)

I was going to do one myself... i made a series of pictures about borris the sheep not getting out of the way of me trying to build a house.

Then i realised it wasnt a fun to read as it was to shout profanities at a mid domesticated sheep. Maybe im broken...

Hey Kat, missed you ... and yeah, lets hope so. :D

Also, just to clear up any confusion for anyone ... I have two chars, my usual hermit char which only really came about at all because this char, the one with Em, got trapped in a cave for 4 days, lol, and Em was away and busy for the first few days, so I played on the hermit char whilst waiting to escape my cave.

So ..... the one living on an island who keeps getting all her stuff stolen and wrecked, is my hermit char. I sort of accidently brought her into the thread talking about houses, lol, so we'll forget about her now. :)

This one has had exactly the same story mind, despite having studied a lucky clover, hmmm, only she hasn't done anything except walk and has only the clothes on her back and a couple of fresh hides ...

Oh, and a chive, unless I've eaten it. :)

surprisingly...my stuff is intact even with a few days not being able to log on!!

one issue though...been trying to terraform across this big hilly area and although ive remove all obstacles out of the way, it says the area cant be terraformed anymore..even though on the survey thing it says the amount of soil left to still dig...no idea what the issue is

eitherway! Amanda! share ur hermit story too...that's much more dramatic :D

You may be trying to dig farther down than you can, depth to dig does max out.
Is the left to dig along the edge? May need to terrafrom a tile or two perimeter, then try to level the first area, see if that helps.
