I had a lot of russian players as neighbors and a few that call themselves wizards. Guess who raided our place flat and raped our sheep? Russians are ok

The first Russian invasion didnt end to well IIRC . There was this common belief that the Russians were the cause of the insane lag due to the server not being able to handle that many people at once so people started slaughtering them. I think Klow Klow and Co. raided some big nub village towards the end.

It was a convenient excuse for Klaue to go on a rampage essentially. I didn't go as far into the history of world 2 so I am not sure if people actually believe that reason.

Wise words but every russian player is a non-english speaking autokilling bot. I've even tried capture2text and to talk to them, they're just assholes by default with no exception I've seen. If you tell them you're from the united states or nearby, they try to kill you.

Maybe it is the other way around: Since the USA (and out of simplicity: the complete population of it) are lying warmongers using every cheap (and made up) excuse you can think of to kill everything that moves (especially through bombing brown people) to get to the resources they want...
This impression then gets projected into the game as from USA => likely has same behaviour as US military the last 40 years worldwide => high-level threat detected => kill it before it can spread any further?
