would be interesting to see if there's a trend to becoming peaceful as you get older.. i suppose the youngins have little to no care for others while the older people have had more life experience to develop empathy
You're welcome, thanks for the support

And yes, that's possible!
Taking into account the people that responded 4 or 5 on the scale (aggressive and very aggressive) we have:
37.5% between 20-24 years
24.9% between 16-19 years
20.8% between 25-30 years
4.2% more than 40 years
4.2% less than 12 years
4.2% between 31-35 years
4.2% between 12-15 years
So, if we compare that to the overall age stats, we can see that the 20-24 group here (37.5%) is quite above the overall results (28.8%) and the same applies to the 16-19 group (24.9% here against 18.6% overall).
The 25-30 group has very similar results, as expected (20.8% here against 20.5% overall), as do 12-15 and less than 12.
And 31-35 and 40+ have both lower results here (4.2%/4.2% here against 13.5%/7.7% overall respectively)
You could say that your argumentation is somewhat correct, then - yes. Younger players tend to play with a more aggressive/militaristic approach than older players. The numbers are not SO different, though, so it can be argued as a tendency but not really a pattern. It's likely related to newer generations of gaming and gaming styles, though that would require further analysis.
Also, just out of curiosity, crossing the aggressive/very aggressive groups with other results show some interesting info too:
Pretty much ~48% of them prefer Legacy over Haven. Probably because of their playstyle - combat was more balanced and nicer - which is far above the ~25% from the overall stats.
And also more than half (~56%) of them have expressed Combat Mechanics to be their top priority for development, also above the overall stats (where Combat Mechanics got 16% of the first pick for priorities) which completely agrees with the statements above and their playstyle group.
But most interestingly, 74.6% of them say they use bots; against 42.8% overall.
The crossing of information is probably one of the most interesting things about this survey
