Attacks in Nice

Why does everyone in this thread instantly think that this is a Muslim/ISIS-oriented attack? Yes, it was a terror attack, but that can be done by anybody; despite political, religious, or personal reasons. Not saying that there's no chance that it was an ISIS "sponsored" terror attack, but it's not the only option here.

Regardless, this is a terrible tragedy. France shouldn't be accosted simply because they want to tighten their borders for 3 good reasons.

Did you really not read the first part of my post? I wasn't saying it was not a Muslim attack, just that there are, of course, other options as well.

I'd like to remind everyone that christianity has killed way more people than this. Crusades for example.
Of course its not nice that people die. But its totally not the only religion doing this.
One example that comes to my mind is Ku Klux Klan, even though its not very good example eligion wise. But most of them were in one religion.

Also theres dozens of terrorism attacks every day. But they happen in countries that western medias or people wont care. I think its just hypocritical that when something like this happens in france everyone is sad. But when this happens in countries like pakistan. No one cares.

But, yeah, as someone have already said before - all religious texts old enough will have horrible suggestions in the name of religion. Because, you know, they were likely composed of texts that were composed of remnants of texts that were composed of who knows what gazillion years ago, lost most of their initial meaning and were based on a quite different morality.

Theres no such thing as a silent majority of peaceful muslims, although I am assuming there is at least a very small minority within the community that might be considered as such. Their holy book is very clear about how an Islamic society should run. Jihad is not considered terrorism under sharia definition btw.

Muslims that live in countries governed by religious sharia =/= majority of muslims. Can't say anything about those countries, but in my country there are regions with 90% and higher muslim population (amongst religious people), and their public speakers and religion officials constantly vocally distant themselves from aggression of ISIS, ways of Jihad and terror etc.

Ofcourse Islam is not a "#religion_of_peace". No religion is one, I believe. But you're painting it in too dark colors.

It even makes you acknowledge who He is, and not only you can discover "wise"
