I'll have to go see more of it sometime I guess.

Russia is by definition not third world country. This is second world country.

My mistake I don't know if it's second world or third world or fifteenth world but hopefully my point was clear that it's a lot harder to afford more expensive computers or computer parts over there than it is over here.

So what you're saying is that Russians don't know how to read or talk? Very interesting argument.
Im pretty sure that literacy rate in Russia is way better than in US.
USA and Russia
In both countries probably everyone knows how to talk, except some people that are unable to do it due to medical reasons.

You sound like bullshit.
Do you really think that English is universal language that 100% of people on earth fluently speak and understand? And if someone does not speak english he is scum that has been lazy in school? You don't really have to travel too much around the world and you will find many places where people just won't speak English.

I do not think it is controversy to say that this. It is well known game will be cheaper in Russia than in other country because people are poor from communism. I think it is hard to say this game be free does not contributes to popular of game in this country.

So, instead of providing a source of your argument as requested you decided to resort to childish insults.

I was saying that for most of people "not being localized" is in no way the reason to not play a PC game, and I base this argument on the fact that most people my age can read and understand simple english (enough for playing most games), because, duh, they learned it at middle school and played games.

Whatever you derived from my post about "100% people of earth fluently speaking and understanding English" is on you dude, and other repressed subconscious about "scum that has been lazy at school". I'm not coming near this, sheesh, aggro much.

...and the only reason people play indie games is because their computer is poor from communism >.<

It seems to me that the topic got sidetracked a bit, no?

Communism is totally not only reason why Russians are generally more poor compared to many other western countries.
Geographical features of the Russia are quite difficult. For example, trading has been and still is very difficult. Moving stuff by waterways is simply superior compared to land. Russia is largely just land without many seashores or large rivers. Large economies such as UK, Netherlands, US, have all relied (or still do) heavily on waterways to trade. Having no rivers or other waterways makes moving stuff inside the country more difficult as well, slowing production and developing of everything. Russia has also experienced a lot of bad things, and almost never got any help from the others. They have constantly been invaded (or tried to) from many directions, such as Mongols and Tatars. Some more recent things have happened as well, such as Napoleon. Only reason why he had to retreat was because Russians tactically burnt their all cities and villages while retreating. Hitler also caused lot of bad things happen to Russia. After the war many parts of the country were completely destroyed. Economy was not doing very well and no one was there to help them to recover. Also they gained lot of enemies from the war. Collapse of soviet union also has huge impact to how things are now.

No of course not but I think it's a large part of the reason why so many more people from poorer countries play this game compared to North America.

Tons of great AAA games have come out so far in 2016 and there are more to come so if you have the means and in this game you're bored and the updates are lacking where do you think the majority of English speaking players will go? They can play better games so they will.

It seems to me that the topic got sidetracked a bit, no?

Seems fine

If forum is not place to talk about topics, what then?
Devs can just delete all forums if people are not allowed to have discussions.

Read the whole post. I mean, it's literally right there. "I base my argument on..." etc. Did you read it and still decided to ask me or did you just posted the first thing that was convenient to antagonize me on?
