but mammoths obviously also easy to see. but youll need more than 1 arrow for those :P
deer and below should be killable with 1 or 2 arrows.

+1 on that in some parts. Hunting should be all about bow and arrow. Steath part is bit to much (noobs would kill them self on invisible animals).

Why should hunting only be done with bow and arrow? Let's not take changing the hunting system to such extremes. All combat should be legit when it comes to hunting, otherwise unarmed combat and melee combat become worthless for non-PvP casuals.

It is strictly bad if PvP combat is literally the only purpose of a skill. Theoretically in a server with only 1 person playing, all mechanics should still be relevant.

Realms don't protect against criminals, but give bonuses. Stealth doesn't protect against getting tracked, but you need it for crafting mirkwoods and other shit. Unarmed combat would be useless because no PvP... And that's it?

Please no, never take inspiration from URW, it's а single player turn-based HARDCORE SURVIVAL game, the idea of which is completely different to Haven. just no

That's like asking for a Skyrimesque combat system because it looks cool

it's a different game

I guess that stuff like mammoths could be hunted by fighting them with something else. But even then the main weapon should be spear, not sword.

This is very philosophical point. I think server with only 1 player is outlandish scenario that game design decision does not need to be beholden to. If you feel this is how game should be, I can not argue this opinion, but I do not find it to be compelling argument.
