I realize this, and I apologize if it appears that I am accusing you of such. It is the American Leftists and the global Anti-American clamorers that I oppose; Not you. I oppose some of your ideas, but I respect you immensely.

Europe needs U.S for protection and stability...From the U.S. point of view I can understand it seems that Europe is leeching on the U.S. Problem is, what is cheaper? To stabilize Europe financially and militarily to prevent any "shenanigans" like WW1/2 or jump in when **** already has hit the fan? You can tariff the Europeans all you like, but that will push them away towards Russia. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Choose your poison.
I know it's childish, petty, and trite of me. Yet, I would love to quote this and add "Oh Yeah? In your face!" in reply to anyone and everyone who ever makes specious statements about America being the laughing stock of the world. You've restored my faith in the open-mindedness and fairness of people all over the world.

Oh boy, I sure do love Hafen & Politiks
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

I'm assuming that's sarcasm. No one is making you read past the subject heading, much less reply. If the topic doesnt interest you, silently move on to one that does.

Your outrageous military spending has nothing to do with protecting allies, it's all about handing pork to your military industrial complex to pay back their massive contributions to your senators' campaigns. If NATO was disbanded tomorrow, your Senate would still find an excuse to keep raising military budget. You can't really do anything about it, though, because that would involve banning corporations from donating to political campaigns which would be a violation of the 1st Amendment which applies to corporations because they're people too.

It's easier to be conservative than liberal if you don't think well. This does not imply that conservatives are wrong or that it is idiotic to be conservative. Painting conservatism as idiocy because of statistics and not considering that there may be multiple factors rather than a direct causation is idiotic imo.

I agree that it's clearly correlation, not causation.
But in CaddoPuma's case, both conservatism and a lack of intelligence are both clearly evident.

With grammar like that, you really shouldn't be commenting on the intellect of others.
