W12 New Discoveries

Cave rat--it's a rat, it's grey, it lives in caves... No, you can't pick it up. You have to fight it. I wasn't that brave yet as I haven't put much into UA.

They are W11 thing though...

There were lots of them in a cave near my claim (W11), no digging required - they were in a big open area. Maybe they're locational? Like the hedgehogs

found one roaming randomly on plain cave tiles (from what I can tell, there was, at least last world, no variation in cave biomes) and two more in dust piles. Guess they just didn't spawn near me as all I ever saw last world were the regular black rats. No wiki article on them, though, and hadn't seen a post about them, so assumed they were new.

Definitely spawned in caverns, aggressive, camoflauged well enough to end up a victim to a troll's rock throw. I believe Ardenne's client even had support for them, and that alone is saying something

Stumbled upon this thing during foraging. I haven't played in a long time, so I am not sure if this is a new thing or not.

Saw this guy too, immediately tp'ed to hearth as it's my first time playing and it seemed to wander around trying to get closer to me, definitely intrigued but not enough to stay put and find out what it's intentions are.
