Meal variety now drops the FEPs needed to level a stat.

You can get it really low, it seems like it starts off at a %16 discount and then rolls off the more different things you eat

This even works for foods that give you no FEPs

Huh, the max FEPs going down? I hadn't ever seen that on the Wiki or forum before. Last world I played was w13 and we managed to get to steel without noticing

FEP page on the wiki, March 31st 2011 wrote:FEPs that you need to fill a food bar are reduced for each and every unique food that you eat while filling that FEP bar. The first food you eat on a completely empty bar will reduce the required FEPs by 30%. The second type of food that you eat will reduce that bar by another 21%, and it continues to be reduced less and less for each new type of food that you eat.

FEP page on the wiki, right now wrote:Eating a unique food item lowers the total number of FEPs needed to gain an attribute point. This modifier resets every time you gain an attribute point, and you can again eat unique food items.

If I'm not mistaken nowadays the reduction is based on the hunger value of the food you're eating.

Ha! Goes to show how long its been since I've really read the wiki. Good to know something that useful is up to date.

If I'm not mistaken nowadays the reduction is based on the hunger value of the food you're eating.

Hmm, the numbers I was getting were essentially the same for a single .08% chestnut as a single full meal.
Though then again I was also getting different progressive discount numbers than the wiki at (%16, %14, etc) so maybe something has changed for w16.

doesnt seem like that much less effort to make than log cabin, but round so less space efficient while taking about same size on a grid.

Had some wildkale harvest into Green Kale seeds, the leaf it dropped was still primitive, so no info on the crop itself yet.

Standing grass is an alchemical ingredient, and counts as a "herb".

I believe it's safe to assume the same for brown kelp, but couldn't test yet.
