Rimworld has been one of my favorite early access game that I've played, and though I have not played Don't Starve, I heard of good things about it, so a combination of the two , if done right, should prove to be a fun game.
The fact that the game in its alpha state was able to offer 70+ hours of entertainment should be a testimony of some potential. However I am a bit torn between waiting for the content to polish up and form and to play due to the seemingly high quality despite its alpha state.

who follows the same routes every day,
who never changes pace,
who does not risk and change the color of his clothes,
who does not speak and does not experience, dies slowly.
