I know people play and enjoy this game for the pvp and the drama of who has sieged/raided/killed who and that's great if that's why you play and hat you enjoy.

However, I do not. and most who join me, tend to be the same. In previous worlds, it's been fun having large towns, trading, and building good alliances with others and it's faired us well overall. The last couple of worlds, with new haven, ive preferred to just keep it casual, hence these threads of journeys and creation of towns and who we meet etc. Its never about the stats or items we can accumulate, or the quality of our things, but just a shared space and experience with nice people.

Now we've been under siege for a couple of days, and frankly, there's very little in the town, as we're still building, and as stated above, the gameplay isn't about those things. So I appreciate all the advice given, and the effort that the raiders are taking to destroy the village shield and get in, I hope it provides you with whatever it is you're after.

Onto the next stage :)

Playing haven and hearth just for farming crops, building autistic houses and posting screens of it it's seriously a waste of time

and it's less of a waste of time when you're killing chars in a game?

and actually its not really the crops or buildings, but the fact you're doing it with people you enjoy playing with and achieving something together.

If you nickpick off one part, you make an entire argument that is not the same as what I originally say.

If I recall correctly, you can't dictate on how the game is played. It is a sandbox game after all and how you play is up to you. Granted it is fairly mandatory to learn how to thwart attacks on your home. Likewise someone else could say that "Playing Haven and Hearth just to bug-raid settlements, making autistic posts on the last spruce-hat kill is seriously a waste of time"?

This game is meant to be like that, you build your city with your friends, then you defend your city with them (or raid, it depends on you). Yes, it's a part of the game, it's the FUN part. I don't want to offend you, but you really should be prepared for that, from the very beginning. It's a waste of time if you just build something and think that nobody will ever want to put his hands on it, they will simply do because they can. Yes, it's not about the building or anything else, it's about the part when you all do it, when you enjoy spending time together. You login each day not to feed your cows or check your trees, you login to spend some time together. Ah, dem feels and memories :/ It's sad that Emerald City will be over soon, but as i said before, it's a part of the game. Be prepared next time, i wish you the best ladies (even though i didn't like these image stories)

:) Nothing is over really. And if we were overly bothered, it would have been made into a bigger deal than this. Like I said, had this been old haven, then damn right, security of the town was priority, its what we focused on first to make it difficult for anyone to try anything. Like I said, this world and last, it's casual, so yes it's a pain to lose something you've worked on, but in reality, we can do it anywhere. So it was never about being prepared or not, or expecting it or not, ive played long enough to know it's a pvp based game so ofcourse there will come a point where ppl will raid you or kill you. But again, as much as I expect it eventually happening, doesn't mean i'll sit in a game and grind and build titan chars in the offchance that someone wants to come destroy the place we've built.

Thank you for the well wishes though :) (and sorry you don't like the thread!! We get decent feedback about it...but I'm bad at story telling which is probably why it reads badly :D )
