And if you want a little more modern version: http://store.steampowered.com/app/25897 ... r_Edition/

Nothing like 1 & 2, though. This game would eat my whole week's allowance and then some. (Don't even want to think about how much I spent on it getting to lvl 100 in 2.)

I see this is the lesser NES version... still fun, but just not the same.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Gauntlet was fun in the arcade...

Macchi C.202 Folgore
Image
The Folgore went into service with the Regia Aeronautica in July 1941 and immediately proved to be an effective and deadly dogfighter.
The Australian ace Clive Caldwell, who fought a wide variety of German, Italian and Japanese fighters during 1941–45, later stated that the C.202 was "one of the best and most undervalued of fighters".

How do you not blast off your own propeller with such a frame? Is bullet ejection hooked to motor rpm, or something like that? Assuming the protrusion at the nose is a gun barrel.

It's a synchronisation gear - an attachment that needs to be configured such as the bullets to be fired when the propeller blades are not in the way of the bullets' trajectories.

yeah that .... it's easier than you can tought, the machine guns are syncronized with the Crankshaft of the engine, so it fires only when the airscrew is in a certain position.

Colony Survival is a neet new game that lets you lead a group of settlers like Stone Hearth, but also lets you get in on the action like Minecraft. The more settlers, the more monsters spawn at night to eat them. There is one anti-cheese mechanic that punishes you if you're flan is un-reachable.

The best one of this kind was Timber and Stone to me ... but i think he stopped the development, still very fun game, and not easy also.
