Like I said, this world and last, it's casual, so yes it's a pain to lose something you've worked on, but in reality, we can do it anywhere. So it was never about being prepared or not, or expecting it or not, ive played long enough to know it's a pvp based game so ofcourse there will come a point where ppl will raid you or kill you. But again, as much as I expect it eventually happening, doesn't mean i'll sit in a game and grind and build titan chars in the offchance that someone wants to come destroy the place we've built.

Not much, Em, I've been busy irl. I'm hermitting with Vera, not too far from the old MC people. Do visit us sometime! At least to tag the charter stone so you can visit us again!

Tarnum, Foragin and Kirbis ... Firstly, thanks for all your hard work at EC and I am sorry we couldn't do more to keep your home safe. EC has always had a strict no scents policy and in legacy haven it was mostly respected and when it wasn't Em has the same attitude as me in that finding a peaceful solution is the ideal. It was also not much of a problem to remain safe in legacy following a few simple rules which is why the devs felt the need to change the mechanics and I do understand that. I just don't agree with the way they have been changed and the special resources which are nigh on impossible to get your hands on, and even when they are up for sale involve paying rl money for. :|

I have a brimstone claim at my hermitage but it did us no good what-so-ever when we couldn't get hold of rock crystals to build a charter stone for me to transport them over and the unclaimed resources are constantly monitored and empty majority of the time.

Secondly ... I am sorry if I got over zealous in wanting to stay and try to prevent it giving you the impression that we could, unfortunately we had left it too late but I get stubborn in these situations and don't have it in me to just give in ... consequently you lost chars, even if only alts and that was my fault. At my hermitage I don't leave scents either as a general rule and also prefer to settle disputes amicably but, I do buy the blk skills and will use them if I have to to defend both myself and my property.
In order to respect Em's rules and not ever get tempted I didn't get any in EC, quite how I thought we could prevent it with no blk skills and no special resources idk, negotiations failed miserably as there really was no dispute to settle or warrant the siege.

Though, as Em says, yes it's a shame to lose the work we have done but it's not the end of the world. :) We had fun along the way, had some awesome visitors and who knows what the next chapter will bring. :D

Also, thanks guys, and Nooby, for teaching both Em and I more about combat and the moves, turning Em in particular into a lean mean fighting machine ... 8-)

Thanks to everyone who has supported us and the thread and enjoyed our adventures over the last two worlds, it has been great fun for us and we have met lots of new ppl and made some awesome new friends, which is really what it's all about. :D

RIP EC. W9.
