Who gives a shit? Put up parry, they're basically a free 150 EXP

I don't have combat skills

They're literally based off your stats, just kill them.

While we're at nidbanes, do they penetrate armor like ants?

I don't have combat skills because I

A. Can't fight shit on 40HHP
B. Can't mindlessly grind cheese
C. Can't do anything to heal myself.

I finally got a horn to make a salve because a nearby hermit took pity on me. It's taken two hours to boil.

There's the circular logic.

Fact of it is, anyone who has one of those resources claimed could probably make a better Nidbane Fetter than I could survive. even if it's only a thieving scent.

I don't have thieving yet but that's beside the point - I wouldn't steal from a claim regardless.

No way, there's no way anyone make a nidbane that you won't be able to deal with.

But how about making two or even more nidbanes?

Yeah that's why people die to them all the time without combat stats.

You're living in a fantasy world if you think there isn't a person in haven that can die to nidbanes just because you can't. Go eat more cheese.

Anyone that dies to nidbane is super bad at this game and should stick to farming carrots. If you are such person - you don't deserve any of the natural resources.

They aren't wrong though, if you know how to deal with them (ie. throw up parry or if you've murdered you need something with red defense for that one) then realistically you should be able to take them on without any worry. The players that get killed by them are either unprepared or inexperienced in dealing with them.

Oh, that's nice but i still don't want to risk. Btw, what about palibashers? Will they ever exist in w9? I don't saw normal information about that :|

I don't have Parry. I haven't been able to fight since I was wounded. Saying "Get gud" or "I'm better, so you deserve nothing" doesn't speak for the argument - Jorb/Loftar made it so that resources couldn't even be claimed anymore, so why are existing claims still around?

Why are they allowed to deny resources to people - permanent, unending sources of them - indefinitely? I'll submit that only one of them is absolutely 100% required in certain situations - and thats Rock Crystal for a charter stone - but almost every other single one of them saves a crazy amount of time or does something impossible otherwise, most notably salt and ice spires. Those are two resources that are probably 100% claimed in the world right now and that's RETARDED.

Zeler wrote:Get gud.

If I can't play the game I can't get better at the game.

It doesn't help that you got better at the game statistically 3x faster than I can.

Or that I can't actually even do the same thing you did to get better because all the salt is claimed.

To my knowledge palibashing is impossible in this world because 800~ish effective strength by-hand isn't possible. Even with a sledgehammer you need like 770 I think. The caps are at 330 for subs.
