I think retention would be good enough to have a healthy population.

Making something like Amber the standard client, or at least parts of it, would be optimal. And something about "quests" in this game just simply isnt fitting. Something about it just doesnt sit well with me. A guide to the basics are what seem most important. Perhaps, for example, after building a herb table, it unlocks a small guide for things it can do. With of course, the option of these guides to be disabled. But quests? That kind of seems like a band-aid fix for peoples attention span. The ones that drive you to cover the basics at the start are nice, I just think they could refined, and made to fit into the UI a bit better. I honestly think a standard client that ~everyone could tolerate should be a higher priority than it is currently.

"Steam's a terrible idea."

And Lord have mercy on your precious heart. Please Lord, give this man the will to not be such a vague shitter within legitimate conversation. Amen

You being impolite towards people bringing up valid points also doesn't help your cause, plus your reasoning is riddled with false assumptions and thus flawed.

Bottom line: Request denied, WONTFIX.

We're not in any rush.
