Are you aware how modern christian religion was composed of, like, 10% of existing religious texts back in middle ages, and all other texts that were inconvenient for religion leaders were condemned and destroyed? So, like, yeah, duh, the bible that we have now has very little to do with original christianity. It was catering for contemporary governing needs and it's notions are mostly obsolete now. Probably they have to repeat the process so it become relevant for another 500-700 years.

People in ISIS must be pissed off when people keep making excuses for them instead of just giving them credit for their own fucking attacks.

Imagine if you died for something you believed and people were just like "yeah but more died in the crusades lel." Not even thinking about how they were in response to Muslim conquests and totalled around 200,00 casualties, not to mention were hundreds of fucking years ago. Don't blame your own ancestors, defend them for fuck sake, have some pride in your own people instead of flaunting them around as stats to defend others.

Even including the crusades Muslims have caused more violence than any other religion towards each other and towards others.

I just don't understand why people would rather make excuses for foreigners of a different religion while demeaning their own people with their same religion. It's really pretty gross tbh

But at least Christianity helped shape the moral fabric we adhere to in the west. Christianity has evolved, for the most part, from its violent origins. Whereas after the attacks in Orlando, Imams had to explain the proper way to deal with homosexuals, which is being thrown from buildings/cliffs.

As a gay man myself, it truly confuses me. Gays fighting for Islam is like livestock counter-protesting dumb vegans at a meat processing plant.
