Elder Scrolls Online is doing just fine.

Uh... No, not really.

Elder scrolls mmo has nothing to do with the real elder scrolls game, it's just a wow clone with some elder scrolls spells included. It's garbage.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Just wanted to say to anyone considering buying this game - DON'T.
It's one of the most tedious, unrewarding game experiences in the genre. The combat is buggy and seems like a cheap ripoff of Mount&Blade combat, but done extremely poorly.
There's a 'feature' where you gather herbs and mix them to make certain chemical, and it's the work of the devil. You have to collect and memorize something like 100 plants with arbitrary names and images, trying to figure out what makes what, and this is bound to your character, so you can't even share that information.
All building and crafting requires massive amounts of basically grass and wood, but there's nothing fun about getting it. It's just grind for the sake of grinding.
Apart from that, the devs made many promises they fell short on, including the fact that the MMO will be essentially pay 2 win, according to the recent 'packages' deal that let you buy ingame currency. What the hell?

But that's just like, my opinion, dudes.

Just tried the game again, couldn't make it through 20 minutes

Incredibly boring map with the odd half-completed structure.

Found a moose and punched it standing still about 20 times before it began to react at all... When it did clue in to the fact that I was beating the shit out of it it just started to run away in a straight line, allowing me to continue to beat on it with my fists

After at least 40+ punches it actually attacked me and managed to hit me and cause a lag spike which spun my camera to a random angle
When the moose 'KO'd me, my character remained standing. A system message appeared saying I was knocked out and everything too lmao

Not to mention that what I was mentioning before about the camera is still a thing. You have to press the tab key to open 'ui' mode which allows you to move a mouse cursor around over your inventory and do actions. You press tab key again to unlock the freeform camera where moving your mouse moves the camera in 1st person or 3rd person view.

Interacting with literally anything in the game puts you into UI mode. Every tree, every bush, every interaction you have with the environment. And you 'interact' a lot.
Tab Key: The Game.

Shooting someone in the face with a bow in Skyrim is probably the most satisfying experience in that game

Let's not forget about placing buckets on merchants' heads so we can steal their wares.
Something this one never did, yes? Khajiit is innocent.

That's an interesting design choice, forcing you to explore the game instead of using a wiki to find information.

It is mechanic that sounds interesting on paper. But I can believe it is more annoying than its value in practice. I have never play game with this mechanic though.
