First day i just walked about trying to get a feel for how things generated and what was around me. mostly forest-y biomes with some hearthlands here and there. Didn't play too much until the evening, I always hang out with a friend on saturday, and he's played H+H in the past. We considered playing more Path of Exile but we're both SCRUBS and end up dying constantly near the end of Cruel difficulty so he agreed on Haven. Played for 6 hours straight, i quickly nabbed the resources for a wilderness beacon while he got his account figured out and Amber client working, we split up and scouted around for good settling locations, i found one rather quick.
Paved an area, got a timber house and some misc. things built, found some good curios and saved up for yeomanry.
One of the better starts i've had, I'm really happy the server behaved that night and waited to be difficult

I think my first days in Haven is summarized in three words: Losing is fun! :)
The vast majority of communication with others are not just words; it is also diction, body motion, and many other factors. Even doing nothing is communication in itself. The moment your eyes meet someone, you have initiated contact. In essential, it is a constant non-stop flow between two or more entities.
