I live in Oklahoma, the land of the Red Man. Its history is rife with blood and tears, but did that not lead to the creation of what we are today? How can I not look towards what has happened and what led to where we are and be proud of it? My family has lived and died here for generations, should I not be proud?

From a technical standpoint: you express to be proud about things (including a genocide, which I think adds a bad taste to the mix) that happened way before you were even born, so you're guaranteed to have exactly nothing to do with them.

Seems like good part of the american population is mistakingly thinking they're (personally) great as of things they didn't had even the slightest influence on. China's population is actually decreasing, quite rapidly, beacuse the government decided to control birth rates back then when they were so high. But now people are not making enough children.


For example Jerusalem contains countless of holy places for many religions, jews, christians, muslims.

All these religions have formed around the same land, and still coexist around there, sadly not in peace. Israel is the promised land for jews but also for muslims and so on.

Not a sole reason for the conflict, but for sure it causes more tension between nations and the people. Throw in some russians, europeans and americans going all for their own agendas, and you have a big area with lots of problems.

Perhaps Europe isn't being destroyed by terror attacks, but by fear and a culture that is not compatible with western society. When I see stuff like the OP, it's one of those moments where you have to think "the terrorist have won". No one should have to worry about getting ran down by a truck in their day-to-day lives.

And then you have a shifting immigration policy where quantity > quality and integration happens less and less. ME and African cultures are simply not compatible with the core values of western society like Equality and Justice. Immigrants from these areas need to be integrated and adopt western culture or else there will be clashes, ghettos, and the lovely European cultures becoming dilute.
