You came out of inactivity after four years just to speak in favor of making Zentetsuken a mod and complain about current moderation in a completely unrelated thread. Just before that, two literal whos pop up to also support Zentetsuken being a mod. Are we seriously looking at an actual attempt by some group to infiltrate the forums? Has this community become that toxic? Can't you guys just go back to killing newbies rather than attempting to kill the game itself?

if it makes you feel better i complained about the mods back then cause i thought they sucked. which is part of why i went dormant on here. you can search for my old posts just as easily as you did for Zen's

Don't get me wrong, I agree to some extent that IF this is the vision of devs then sure they may or may not add things like that, and that those players of course would be targetted. But why did you mention that? We're talking about forums should i remind you, not the games matters. Zentetsuken nowhere stated that, yes, being borderline "woke" should be accepted. There is a difference between being woke and just knowing what is alright. Do you think that pedophilia and homophobia is okay? I assume not. I can assure you that noone thinks that not being black is racist lol - those are just extreme cases. Maybe if you visited the discord you'd see how the situation really looks like.

Which should be fine. Expressing an opinion is neither dishonest nor should it be moderated.

Because it relates to Zentetsuken's desire to have global moderators, completely out of the devs' or community's control, dictating what can or cannot be said on the suggested official communication channel, and whether that channel is even allowed to exist:

it would be a modern platform where people would actually get banned from the global moderators for making disgusting posts likening pedophilia to homosexuality and stuff like that.

...oh. It really is what you want. Well, enjoy the game's primary communication medium getting shut down in a couple years due to the devs' refusal to add black skin colors African-American skin colors skins of color to the game, then.

I should also point out that Discord is based in California, which is the region where the 'woke' movement is the strongest and which pushes the hardest for political correctness in ways that seem absurd to the rest of the USA, let alone the rest of the world.

How old are you? Social stances towards matters change rapidly over time, and unless you're a zoomer you must have experienced some of those changes yourself. Back in the 2000s the 'damsel in distress' was a cool heroic trope, yet by the 2010s it had come to be seen as very misogynistic. In 2008 then-Mozilla CTO Brendan Eich (inventor of JavaScript, the thing that made Mozilla big) made a $1000 donation to a political campaign about a referendum against gay marriage - a referendum that had 52% of the population being against gay marriage with a 79% turnout - yet only six years later he got completely canceled over that exact donation, being fired resigning amidst a massive shitstorm, because within a decade homosexuality had gone from 'degenerate' to 'how dare you speak against it' in the public opinion. Is it really that unthinkable that in ten years something about this ruthless game set in a Scandinavian setting (as a reminder, vikings are getting increasingly associated with the alt-right) will trigger Californians enough to drop an official Discord server entirely? Subreddits have been closed down for less.

That's just one example, though. Currently the most likely issue is that amidst other Western company boycotts of Russia, Discord could block Russian users from their service. If Haven's main dev communication channel were to be Discord, a situation like that would cut off a significant chunk of the playerbase from official dev communication. In general, you don't want to be dependent on third parties unless they have a very good value proposition. Having unrelated global moderators (who almost certainly don't care about the game or its community) is a bad thing, not a good thing.

Holy fuck this. Everyone should be talking about how the only posts that don't include some form of "I don't know" or "I don't play" are posts about how perfectly moderation is being performed.

Unfortunately I believe we need less moderators at this time, not more.

Of course my ancestors happily killed each other over being called what amounted to 'gay' or 'beta', which many of you would easily be walked into participating in with the correct social pressures.
