My belief is that Loftar is opposed to such a thing, for many stubborn, arcane and opaque reasons, however:

The theoretical implementation of Large Language Model coding would, to me, be the most excellent reason to finally let this game go. If the developers surrender to making their going-on-twenty-year passion project of blood sweat and tears (of laughter) into a cheap garbage slurry I would be out in a heartbeat and never look back.

Haven most likely could only ever exist as a peculiar passion project, made by just two eccentric people.

People really like to characterize them as passionate and eccentric, but I really don't see it. They're developing for 2 hours a week by their own admission, with semi-frequent 3-6 month long breaks. Whenever they stream themselves playing it's obvious they don't even know how the game works at an intermediate basic level. Loftar could not figure out how visitor works with mineholes last stream.

Maybe they were passionate nerds once, now I think haven generates just barely enough money to justify keeping the lights on

Kenshi was developed by one autistic gentlemen and it's one of the greatest games I've ever played.

The community holds the developers hostage here. Vocal minority. A PvE survivalist co-op version of this game would sell very well.
