jorb told you on stream why he banned you cuz you turned the game into an RTS you are using your bots to do PVP and mass kill shit and making exp for your Realm by making new characters by Wilderness Beacons and getting the 1,000 exp every time new character enters anywhere doing that multiple times with 30 characters that's 30,000 exp and I could see somebody doing that many characters every two to three minutes that's too cheesy and too much of a big cheat if you just use a bot for terraforming or light farming crops and stuff you're not going to get in trouble for it when you start to use it for PVE and PVP in the way of killing things that's where you're getting into an area will probably lead to a ban if you do it too much and I think doing it in PvP at all should get you banned sorry using a shit ton of bots like this you deserve a ban

Well, that clears things up nicely (at least to me).

Even if he wasn't around his villager robben for sure knows that shubla got banned for using bots in this manner.
A little prevention goes a long way I would say.

All that stuff is pretty bad but I would not be surprised if other groups were/are doing similar things. Jorb and loftar have always argued that bots are not the problem, but rather mechanics that allow for these circumstances to occur are where the issue lies and resolving those mechanisms has always been their priority over resorting to moderation. Did that stance suddenly change?

Do they intend to fix or alter the mechanics in order to prevent such issues from happening again? Are there already or do they plan to implement any methods of information collection in order to track and log such behaviours should other players attempt the same things but not make it public? Is anyone else going to get banned for relying on the fruits of their bot labour force to have an advantage over others in pvp?

They very clearly have no plans to deal with the actual root of the problem.

Also I am a little hesitant to believe the realm xp thing. If the 1000 xp from character creation really goes towards a realm should the character spawn in one that is entirely on the devs for being dumb enough to allow that in the first place. Anyone could take advantage of that, bots or no.

Pretty sure that the wiki is wrong and "Find an X" type of experience events don't add realm authority. Take that from me who did run into localized resources a lot and not once seen a wild jump in realm authority.

Yeah unless i missed some changes, realm only gets xp the second time (and each time later again) you trigger each event

I've raided ur willage 3 times and 3 times there has been a XP botting setup. Not that I reported it, but it's so common now that I think they've given up on caring about the integrity of realms.
