I think some of you may love this game, Elona+ roguelike jrpg, a kind of URW/CDDA open world but more forgiving and with weird/fun elements, the best if you are new to the rogue like genre.

Incredible browser game (it's also on steam if you prefer) - MMO sidescrolling with rogue like elements and Permadeath (for real, if you die you die) ... awesome game to chill out when I'm surfing the web on my laptop, doesn't even require registration, you can play immediately on the browser ... reccomended mainly for us "not so young anymore" guys, nostalgic 80-90' feeling of the arcade machines. (Jorbatar check it out)

Not sure how many of you are fans of the Star Wars franchise, the games over the years, etc, and figured this was as good a place for this as anywhere else...

Read a news/rumor article that Disney is shopping around for a new publisher for the franchise games. Choices mentioned were Ubisoft and Activision... Not sure either is an improvement. One of the articles I've seen: https://www.thegamer.com/rumor-disney-d ... publisher/ I think it might have to do with recent performance (Battlefront not as well received, and a cancelled title), but there's been more than a few not-so-hot or cancelled games in the franchise history. Then again, it could be money, and the "rumor mill" is to just get a few more percentage points out of someone. LucasArts has been with EA since... well, the first Star Wars game came out on a PC/console that I can recall. (Nintendo/Sega-mid-late 80s era; not earlier Atari/Apple/Commodore of late 70s-early 80s.)

JS is picking up again after the mass exodus last year. Devs finally listened to the player base, don't think they had much of a choice tbh, and there have been lots of changes in the recent updates. They brought back the old map as well as keeping the new one, which has been added too, giving you a choice. There are a whole heap of decor items and specialised containers that have been added, like weapon and ammo cases, tool chests and medicine cabinets, etc. Structures have been fortified and the cost of mats lessened. You can now build out of stone as well as wood/metal and upgrade your structures, you can also now build a stone vault which supposedly will make it a lot harder for raiders, not had a chance to test it yet, been too busy gathering cars.
