Being peaceful and being agressive are parts of the game. Rams was made for bashing walls, and survey flags was made to level ground. So if you are peaceful you can check your walls for rams and plant your flax inside everyday. It doesn't means that if you peaceful no one can attack you. But you decided to be an asshole. It won't actucally achieve anything to invite someone there who might represent a certain part of the playerbase when those players simply have completely different ideas on what the game should be than the devs.

The devs need proper feedback on the game. Every game has this kind of testing group. Only HnH shouldn't have one?

Problem with the plebs is they have conflicting feedback most of the time. Also there needs to be context for feedback. Jorb can't be expected to know everyones ingame situation. At least he knows the feedback he gets from us is coming from the point of view of a certain type of organized village and he can weight that in when he decides stuff. And it's not like he ignores other feedback. Or it's not like he doesn't ignore ours. He does it all the time.

The first time I was invited to the IP from my analysis of the cheese making system that was making its quality to reliant to the quality of the cheese tray with the spreadsheet to prove it, equation and all, and proposing that the cheese quality have the other materials have more relevance, a solution that would actually be more detrimental to my faction in relation to everyone else since we had the best tree quality during the time.

In world 6, one of the Ainran members (Nao wasn't in IP during the time I don't think) wanted me to report a bug that was pretty exploity, one that would have given them dominance over combat due to its shift towards movement combat metagame.

So there are times when we actually have to sacrifice our position in the game for the improvement of the game. I can't speak everyone in the IP or every major/recurring faction but I can safely say that many of us would prefer a better game rather than an easy win by playing wall-jumping Transformice.

do you realize this is leaking some nazism air? saying "we are special but you arent" or "you cant add more than we can" or disrespecting "plebs" as if you (instead of devs) got to decide what is best for the greater good and divide the community. if you really dont notice that air coming down from you to our dirty earth here, then IP must suck so hard.

let me make myself clear that i have no intention nor will of being thrown in IP in order to add some "diversity" representing whatever group you find me in to your precious elitist circle. so you dont have to feel so insecure. i know who i am and im happy to be where i am. if jorb or loftar wants to hear what i say they can always do so down here or in irc and i find it fine and im content with that. i dont think ive ever asked them nor hinted them to put me in it or anything. all i ever did was asking jorb to put someone else who know better than i in salem IP (to no avail).
i have no objections and no problem with IP itself existing at all. but if the people in IP start drawing their line to rank other forumers as "useful" or "useless" like that, then there appears to be a problem in "who is in it" rather than "why there is one".

honestly people please don't overestimate the Inner Party - for long time there wasn't much going on but talks about moderation questions mainly (and thus mainly by moderators), sometimes suggestions / discussions about getting others into IP ... it's not like there was much discussion about development - i guess haven channel visitors have been much better informed (or forumers by Oddis transcripts) - you can easy see how unimportant IP is when it comes to game transformation in the way how i've been annoyed when hafen got up without alternative payment methods - there was zero information about in the IP aswell ... sure now there's discussion again but jorb isn't lending more ear there than he does on the whole forum or irc ... the only new thing lately was the "Kingdom idea" showing up in the IP only which got leaked at pastebin ...

Sure i'd like to see much more diversity in the IP but whelp i'm just a known useless unimportant peacefool and this is a wargame (and not mine)
