I think most of us can agree most modern day Christians are tolerate of homosexuals, and if they aren't they don't go lynching them and shoving them off buildings, sure they might spew hate speech, but they don't push gays off rooftops, and behead the people who leave their religion.

nah those kind of christians are the anti christ themselves.
I'd rather give salute to muslims who know what to pick but
i hate their barbaric nature.
Also real christians are not known and are only few in numbers.

Yoru, who is to dictate what "real" Christian means? You?

I have a feeling you have a very sheltered idea of religion and its relation to evolving societies.

I so want to dive down this rabbit hole. I'm just nowhere near the best person to do it. I'll avoid derailing the thread, though.

Christ. He left us with only two commandments: "Love God before all others," and "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

Of course, one can debate the existence of God, but those usually devolve into arguments that are nowhere near as elegant as Nietzsche or other modern athiests. (Actually, the opposite of elegant would be the most apt.)

I'm pretty sure the Crusades were European in origin, not Muslim. It was the attempt of the West to take back the conquered Holy Land of Israel which the Romans took from the previously ruling empires dating back as far as the Babylonians. The atrocities on both sides were pretty bad.

Of course the crusades were western in origin, but if we're taking a pure numbers game like people seem to like to do, Muslims are worse anyway even including the crusades.

You forgot capitalism, add that to the graph and it'll dwarf everything onto the baseline, including the peak in the middle...

I'm pretty sure communism kills it. But yeah corporate capitalism does bad things these days.
Nevertheless that doesn't have anything to do with terrorist attacks.

For me bombing funerals and weddings (among others) with drones look like terrorism, at least when viewed from the ground.

Typed from a computer that's the product of capitalism
Have fun starving to death you commie
How does an economic system have anything to do with terrorist attacks anyway. Not like people are blowing themselves up for capitalism lol. Stop trying to be such a fucking intellectual.

Why blow yourself up for capitalism when you can talk your government into going to war for you over oil in foreign lands blah blah blah....

Well that would be an entirely different conversation. There isn't a real way to debate the existence of God, as it's a rather subjective and individual take of spirituality. So yeah. that debate always results in a disconnect. Trying to answer questions that are not answerable is a trait of mankind. Everyone finds peace in an "answer" in some form or another.
