I think we can now all make same conclusion.
Body modification increases hair length.

Maybe this is why I do not modification to body. My hair is already long.

Well, I always said that if God wanted us to have short hair, it wouldn't grow long, much like a wild animal's hair only grows so long. I've thought much the same about tattoos, not because they are "unclean," but if it actually made us look better, everyone would do it despite the religious taboos.

Don't get me wrong. There's some great looking tattoos, but I just don't think it makes anyone look better. I liken it more to the phrase "wearing your heart on your sleeve"--the tattoo gives away some part of the self to the casual observer. I'm too private of a man to expose my inner self in such a way. (Let's not mention it's a dead giveaway identifier if a person was to ever actually commit a crime.)

As a person with tattoos I tend to find other people with tattoos more attractive with them then without.

God gave you an intellect, a conscience, and the ability to choose what you want to do. Figure out whether you should trim your hair or not with that.

Fashion is a zeitgeist. It may be that tattoos become fashionable in twenty years' time, and then peter out again in twenty years after that. Who knows what the human mind will wrap itself around?

Well, I can't and won't ask you to fly your flags if you don't wish to. Certainly not in that way; I have no desire to waste my money or undergo unnecessary pain. I can easily fly my flag in other ways.
That said, I do slightly admire the man who tattoos himself with something important to him - his God, his wife, his children, the meaning of his life.
"...the dungeon and shackles are already at my threshold to show me here and now my eternal disgrace. Only you can work the miracle to make life possible for a soul so imperiled by doubt, O Atoner for all, exalted beyond saying." - St. Gregory of Narek, Book of Lamentations, Prayer 1.

You are much loved! Love in return!

Some times the body modifications could make it a challenge to be employed.

Permanently disfiguring your body is a great way to show off your excellent life choices.

Why can't I get a job outside of fast food?! If you look like a convict or drug addict, people will assume you're one.
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

I don't know of any restaurant, fast food or otherwise, that would hire anything like that. However, I know some tech places that just flat don't give a shit what you look like as long as your mods don't interfere with your work or the interaction with your other weird coworkers. Same goes with garages, factories, and such.

Lol, but yes, this thread is very negative towards the subject, which actually surprised me no end tbh, I was under the impression people as a whole were more accepting of this type of artistic expression in 2016 and we had moved on from associating it purely with undesirable types!
