I sent some of my friends to check stuff about this game (pics/videos/streams, etc.). They all pity me now and they even consider to raise some money so that I can get a PC upgrade and play some real games. To be honest I don't even know if I should be mad ...

Then the realization comes in that HnH requires a surprisingly decent computer if you don't want to run at 5 fps in villages.

I guess those twats don't play Dwarf Fortress, Terraria, Minecraft...

BTW, my computer has a 512 MB NVidia Quadro GFX card, 4 GB of RAM, and a dual-core ~2.4Ghz CPU, and I can play Haven just fine.

Is that a decent computer? Cos if it is, I recommend you get it if you have less. I got mine for ~$180 USD.

For what its worth, I created a fourth(?) thread in the Dwarf Fortress forums some months ago. unlike the others, I intend to maintain it, so there's that.

I updated the OP with news of the new world, so no one can say I didnt do my part in spreading the gospel news.

PvP surely is a core part of the game.
But truth is, that noobs wont have much of defense from ganks.
I think devs should further limit the ability to gank noobs. So killing noobs wouldnt be worth of the effort. Criminal debuff helps a bit, as you cant just kill everyone you see and then tp home but not enough.
