No I just found WWW now, farming appears to make them spawn in the area, but it's good to know that replanting is another method of obtaining seeds.
Edit: I also just got hemp seeds from harvesting string grass.

I found my first two WWW in the wild at about 1,200 Per*Exp.

yeah i found 2 between me and neighbors now
9 and 11 q so its most lkely just the same stuff that is planted by players "being sown by a wind"

There was a recent patch to support credos that seems to have brought wws back.

When harvesting my string grass crop today it converted to Hemp. This was the second planting/harvest. I do have Gardening and Plant Lore. I don't know if that made any difference. I will add pics in a separate post as I have to snap some. I actually planted all of it except for 1 - 50 seed bundle and a couple left over that have highlighted themselves and I can't do anything with them. Edited to add, having just logged back into Haven the seeds are no longer highlighted. The string grass seeds I planted I harvested myself as a new spawn on day 1 and saved which is why they have the appalling 1-4 quality. Off to take pics now..

What Q was it? I noted the tobacco the other person posted was >10. Wondering if maybe sub-10 always returns wild crops.

Nope, I found my WWW (which became Hemp) before the credo fix server restart.

I harvested as naked newb so q1 was q 4 at second harvest when it converted. The seed harvested as hemp but the fiber was still wild string. Last image is new hemp planted behind me.
Also forgot to mention I have a skep where first planting of wild crops I didn't.
Not sure if this was also a contributing factor?
