What about steel crucible?
I made wrought iron, naturally made brick and know stone. I have learned the steelmaker skill, but I have not developed it.
Maybe now something else is required, like with the cellar - you need "Must have seen: Bar of bronze, iron or steel"?
Who knows, share your knowledge.
Upd.: w16 changelog help me. Need seen bloodstone ore.

Has Tansy been discovered yet? It stops midges from coming after you and it makes tansy extract.

Seems pretty common-ish, picked three in 30 mins river hunting.
