Been having a lot of fun with this overall. This is the result of a double flank I performed trying to destroy vehicles to complete a contract, but before I could take them all out they called in a mech lance for backup and I had to scurry to bring the lance back together for a focused attack. Abusing mobility buffs ftw.

Seriously, though. I've been waiting for this. Does it live up to the hype? All the reviews I'm reading says it does. I've been playing off and on since... before the Clan rules, I think?

I think so. There's an appeal to sitting on the edge of your seat biting your nails while a volley rushes toward its target. Overall it is pretty good but lacks some polish and usability. I think without the nostalgia value it would still be good, but they are just building on an existing popular franchise with a good backstory and universe. I die for all that nobility, honour and fighting for money in robots stuff.

Don't have any screenshots of it, but passing it around that Galactic Civilization II: Ultimate Edition is free for 48 hours on Steam. Installing now, so might have something to share later. (Need to feed the chickens first, though.)

It looks very promising indeed! Remotely reminds me of sid meiers pirates maybe?
