Mosqitos.
You can't kill them, 99% of times you can't see them and you ALLWAYS hear them. They attack, do damage to shp, and there is 25% chance that they will infect you with malaria. Once you are infected - you are going to lose your hhp and stats until you die.

Mosquitoes that roam during night (seasons would make them a temporary threat), similar mechanics to leeches could work, as if you don't have clothes on, the chance of them biting you would increase. Also the ability to prevent the bite by appearing in the equipment screen for a brief moment.

I am hoping for some sort of feline. Maybe we could tame them to get adorable little pet cats that would cough up furballs which could be studied as curios! You would have to feed cats rats or they would die of starvation. A-and maybe we could use their fur to make pretty catgirl outfits. Omigosh, too cute.
