I'd be interested to know what you are using to be constantly full at 46 int. because for me I only manage that after whole day of foraging, then the next day I will be half empty. boar tusks or something? (I use those sometimes for reals).

Currently: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Itsy Bitsy's Web, Enthroned Toad, Uncommon Snapdragon, Wondrous Woodshaving, Thorny Thistle. That is 27k lp when they are all over. But most of the time I have Bat Wings, Uncommon Snapdragon, Seer's Bones, Mirkwood Offering, Thony Thistle, Ladybug, Dewy's Lady Mantle and Emerald Dragonfly with something heavier like Enthroned Toad.

My recommendation is to not be too picky about curios, just avoid the really bad ones: the ones that take forever, weights a lot and gives you like 2k lp cus you will probably swap it for other better curios and just lose the time. Also, even though Itsy Bitsy Spider and curios alike have low lp/hour/mw, they are worth when its quality is higher, like q15+, imo.

What you describe is exactly what needs to be avoided: People just farming mountains and swamps with their forage bots all day and it is all they need to raise good characters.

Foraging alone really never even filled your study back then, it's just now we have even less curios overall to study! Seems like nothing has changed, quality grinding aside which we all do anyways, I will never run out of any of the crafted curios, they are easy to make and mass produce, to me that's basically the same as having a botted cupboard of edels (Not that I'm arguing botting curios should be allowed). I just fail to see a major difference between the current state of curios now, and the current state of curios then.

So things like Uncommon Snapdragon, Enthroned Toad and Itsy Bitsy's Web then, yeah?

Even if everything IS currently fine (which I would dispute), my point is that investing 20 to 45 exporation wasn't worth it is still true.

Itssy stuff is great but not at all something you can constantly study. Only thing I'm consistently keeping up studying is like enthroned, aurochs hair and chariots. I dont count mirkwoods because they are something you use when online because so fast. Will try out seer's bones.

No, things like Petrified Seashell, Strange Crystal, Leather Ball and Rattle-Tattle-Talisman. But I guess if you cant find or craft those ones you said above q10 you should avoid them too.
