do you realize this is leaking some nazism air? saying "we are special but you arent"
Doesn't being invited (or forced into) a developers inner circle make you special on some level? At least it means the devs value your input more than others, at least for the time being. I realize the words being used are of poor choice, but what has this to do with Nazism? I'd call it more "white tower" type BS (we know more because we sit in our tower discussing it all day), or fascism (we have power and thus are better than you).

I can't explicitly say about this being a member of the Inner Party, but as a moderator, don't we at some level? I realize I say I don't speak for the devs all the time, as I am trying to express my personal opinions, not those of jorb or loftar (though they may align), but they've entrusted certain privileges to me to be fair and uphold rules on the forum, and with respecting my input on certain matters before that. If I were to speak on a subject, it's hard for a person that isn't a regular on the forums to distinguish me as a player from me as a moderator. Where exactly does that voice change? As a moderator, are my statements about what should and shouldn't be more valuable in the eyes of other players?
All that aside, if it makes anyone feel better, think of the IP as unpaid employees (jorbtar's slaves). If we were working for DICE or Bethesda or whatever commercial studio, we'd be making slightly better than minimum wage and listed in the credits as "internal playtesting" or some such drek. You plebs have read the credits in a game, haven't you?
