When you kill animal in swallow water with ranged weapon your ammo is drop in to water if you kill it on ground it will drop to floor.

Makes me think that perhaps arrows could be retrieved when skinning instead of dropping on the ground after hitting.

I would much prefer this route. I think it would be fair to have a breakage % depending on arrow quality.
