Guys, I got an idea. In 11 years, when I'm eligible to run for the presidential office, just vote for me. I promise to drop the bomb and solve all of humanity's problems once and for all. So, why worry about the vote now?

So is there absolutely no scenario in your mind in which what Trump says actually works and turns out positive?

No. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he does something memorable that is positive in the long term.

My theory is that Trump is just putting on an act. He might be more clear headed in reality.

But that's a very optimistic theory.

Actually, if you check any of the interviews with behavioral experts, it's pretty much an unanimous agreement that he's putting on a show and has been since he declared. Even in the debate Monday night. He actually tried to start off and talk issues and policies, but didn't take him long to fall back into (or be goaded into by Clinton?) his old habits.

By cutting off RNC funds, the Republican Party is abandoning their nominee to certain defeat. Trump has no get out the vote operation, no data operation, and no staff on the ground in key swing states.

I've been saying since January Trump is pulling this off to get Hillary elected. The GOP has been ignoring their base for too many years pandering to the religious right and big money. They've been building for a big fall since Nixon.

I missed tonight's debate and haven't had time to read through the news and recaps over it yet. Looks like a repeat of last one with a quick scan of things with Trump just doubling down on what he's been doing.
