Indeed it's not a problem...but the beauty of this game, that you have no restrictions...you are completely free to do whatever you want...not like others games where you have invisible walls, literally or in the game design also.
In my opinion this could be solved with numbers....
A wolf alone can kill a sheep only cause the whole flock of sheeps doesn't work togethere, but we are not sheeps.
The recently Realm improvements are a good step in that direction and we'll see if they will work better, but I still think it's a bit too complicated feature, too artificial, that require advanced players, etc...(before player discover what realms are,etc...)
My opinion is that we need a more "natural" feature that incentivate people to play together from the beginning of the game, of course if they want, but the game should show to them from the beginning that path.
This could be done in many different ways, with hunting, with "ideal" location to settle, or idk....with some fun feature that will make more convenient while having fun playing the game with people you meet in the widerness instead of being able to do everything by your own.
Maybe, and I said Maybe, we could even mark players between "good" or "evil", this to help with the trust between players around the world, etc...we need to give them some kind of identity, to cooperate, to play together to reach the same aim.....in short we need to give them something to fight together perhaps, that's why I spoke about hunting also.
Giving to player a common enemy at the start of the game (like animals), perhaps they will be more inclined to play togethere...we already have ducks,etc..
Some step in this direction is already been made....personally I think that some "ideal" place to settle, easy to understand from the beginning of the game could solve definately this thing....but perhaps would also add a bit more of restrictions to the game, but I guess it depends on how it would be implemented.
It should be conveninet but not mandatory.....like having more inventory space for verified and subscribed accounts, that initially I criticized, I thought it would be a bad idea tbh, now instead I think It's a very good idea.
P.S.
Maybe in the future with heat and cold ( if they will add it) would be easier to concentrate people on certain locations on the map.....
Perhaps we could even aim to different "ideal" locations based on players progression, for nooby will be more convenient to settle in certain areas, once you develop your char would be more convenient settle in others locations, and so on....
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.
