It is a brutal game. The balance between positive and negative reinforcement in the players experience is heavily toward the negative and that puts a lot of people off. I think the game needs tweaks and balance not sweeping changes to the core gameplay experience.

i frist played alone and even now i am playing as a hermit

i dont like the idea of belong to another place or have a boss in this game | mean fuck this is a game i am not looking for having a boss in this game too xD

i know that means i will never be the strongest or the richest person in the game but i dont care

what i dont like since i been exploring is the huge use of bots for what i know using bots is legal is a sorry i dont know how use it and even if i know i dont sure is a good idea the use of bots

and that i have fund many good resource that are inside of pallisade that belongs to villages very far but is fine i know this game is not a pay to win is a join to win and i am fine with surviving

i like explore caves sometimes with ore in the grounds (the only fucking way i have found to get ore xD)

and found some crazy russian and log out get with my another main char and found they are waiting for my explorer to log in x_X is awesome feel that in anymomenth everything can hit the fan

just recently i have find active players that are from 0,0 or from here close to my place and is cool and i just hope things nicer

i am thinking about creating another pallisade in front of my home as i am always in fear in any moment someone will found me and kill me just cause they can

i know wont stop them but at last delay the inevitable xD

Have a location in the world where everyone can spawn in.
No rules or safe zones, but the faction who controls it get a percentage of the trades conducted in premade and indestructible stalls. Everyone can use the stalls, and there should be alot of them.
Factions could fight over it and even kill the customers. (Killing traders would not be good for business though).

Spawning in is not game breaking since we already hearth. Stalls might be game breaking, but not worse than Salem. Maybe stalls could be built by the owning faction, but indestructible once built?
No currency, just asking an item (or several items) for another item (or multiple items).

And, yes Dis would most likely gain control of this, but the rest of the world could oust them if they got coordinated.

I'm actually planning something similar to what you have described only player operated and built. Similar to the GM towns in Wurm only without any guards. It probably won't work but that's not the point. It's intended as a fun experiment.

It was a concept I originally wanted to create in Salem.

Details 'soon'.

It was another Seatribe game in conjunction with Paradox. Things didn't work out and they returned to Hafen. The community rejoiced and Salem has gone downhill ever since.

Salem had some features I preferred. I do not farm in Hafen for example because it gives me cancer.

i played salem and the early game felt terrible and uintuitive and retarded

was a big disappointment for me

but i liked the curio system there
