As it turns out, my CPU cooling as apparently insufficient, and the total CPU usage of the client and, mostly, ffmpeg makes it clock back quite significantly indeed while it's simmering at 97+°C. I'll leave it up til the end of the world anyway. (I'm running the stream on my personal computer.)

If this is on your i5-2400 system, a simple reseat & repaste of the cooler should be sufficient. That and make sure your heatsink isn't too dusty. The sandy bridge stock cooler can run higher than stock voltages at 100% load on all threads without temps going too high if it's not dusty and seated properly.
