Yes they are different but that was never my point to begin with, my point was that to say biology has no effect on culture or that culture has no effect on biology is foolish. Culture can easily put constraints on a population's biological evolution which is why you might hear some people say "we are going backwards" in that regard.

Well I don't know what your links have to do with what it seemed like you were implying with the video which was that somehow in their laziness, some people magically contribute more than the people who worked hard for their entire life. I could certainly use myself as an example, I've contributed very little of merit to the world overall but I also haven't worked particularly hard.

And there is really nothing that proves just giving people what they want will make them happy, quite the opposite usually.
