It's slightly better than nothing! But I dont wanna have to fumble with my keyboard to find which of my 5 mapped skins has water in it.

my PVE noob tip is change combat keys:

from (12345) to (QWERT)
from (shift+12345) to (ASDFG)

pros:
- clears keys 12345 for a lot of stuff, including shooting while in combat
- 2 rows of keys is more visually similar to combat UI

cons:
- takes a while to get used
- may conflict with your setup (my worked fine somehow)

also switching target (Ctrl+Tab) is a good candidate to change to simply (Tab), or (Space), but I didn't tested yet

I see a lot less value in driving off people who tend to be very long time players.

I could as easily turn that around and say that the farmers, explorers and hunters might be very long time players if it wasn't for those few people that hunt them down or scare them away. And this is just speculation on my end, but I'd wager that the casual playerbase is way larger than the Hardcore PVP niche one. Just saying if I ran a company and wanted to make a profit this is not how I personally would do things, but this isn't my little baby and I still enjoy the game, for now.

it is pointless to tell you anything more than shut up sprucecap, because this is your mentality. you are not having a discussion, you are not interested in learning how to play better, you don't even really want the mechanics to be made less irritating because you refused to ever even learn what the mechanics are in the first place- and you have no interest in learning.

shut up sprucecap.

I agree with this 100%.

What I really want to know is how jorbtar feels about HnH. It's very unclear what kind of aspirations/goals they have for HnH...
