Everyone that is straight-up enraged is an offensive, abrasive, toxic little shit that nobody would want to play with. Probably 14 years old with no job, or you live in Russia and $15 is your monthly vodka bill, or someone that wanted to bot instead of actually play the game and take advantage of its awesome features.

Everyone that is approaching this calmly and reasonably are mature, likely adults, able to afford the subscription. If the player base 3 months from now consists of mainly these types of players, the pay to play model will have been a huge success.

You little monsters treated this like 4Chan and now its biting you in the ass. "Topkek" and "dank memes" my friends, or whatever is hip these days.

What a mature way to respond, with ad hominem and name calling!

Our trust was greatly abused when this was dropped, and the product isn't nearly worth the money that is being asked for. It's an alpha. Not even the worst Steam pre-releases charge on a subscription basis, and if they did, they would get the same flak. The community drives this game harder than a normal MMO, and this move will simply destroy the playerbase and thus, the gameplay.

Do you really believe, they will be full time devs? Like in any other game studio with at least 8h day time? You must be kidding me.

You don't need so powerful(and expensive in other words) server and connection for 1-1,5k ppl. As longs as server is optimized, at least a bit.

I'm not fully "against" p2p, nor "for" it. But in this situation it is bad, at least at pricing. You are keep saying it will help against botting, but... In past bots have been used by people who want to grid, have fun. When there is new possiblity to get real cash for playing HnH = more bots. ;) Just check how it works in other mmos.

Of course not, I'm sure if they could financially support themselves purely from their own game dev projects it'd be more like 12-14 hours a day, self funded indie development is a lifestyle not a job.

jorb did promise bi-weekly updates, so it sounds like some pretty active development there.

we'll see how it goes. most devs that say that give up after a month. the updates just keep coming later and later, until its months before even tiny bug fixes are made.

Nice talking about maturity and then opening rage threads with no content in subforums...

I still don't get how any trust was betrayed, they said in an interview this was going to happen...

I APPRECIATE HOW THE MODERATORS KEEP BRINGING UP AN INTERVIEW THAT NOBODY EVEN HEARD OF MAYBE INSTEAD OF GIVING EXCUSES THE DEV TEAM COULD HAVE ADDED A REMINDER ON THEIR FIRST POST IN THE ANNOUNCEMENTS "BY THE WAY THE GAME IS GOING TO BE PAY TO PLAY SO BE PREPARED!" IT IS NOT HARD TO TYPE ONE SENTANCE.

and for the following reasons i have dropped the game lol

A lot of tl;dr so I will just say this. Jorbtar has put up with a lot of sh*t with this community. For years they have given us a wonderful game and asked for nothing in return. If you don't like the subscription system don't pay it. If you think it has completely ruined your experience and you're going to quit, save your fingers the exercise and just go, the community will be better off for it.
